She was old. Frail. The blow of wind kissing her skin would break her bones. She didn’t want to live longer. My grandmother worked as a waitress until she was eighty years old. She was fierce. Hard-working. A five-foot bull.  Her life revolved around hamburgers, coffee, and chocolate cake.
