[dropcap]W[/dropcap]elcome to NateAnglin.com. I first want to thank you for joining me here. Over the past 10 years I've grown to embrace fitness and understand the huge impact it's had on my professional career.
It all began one day when I went to Barnes & Noble and bought an Arnold Schwarzenegger book called "The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding" (not an affiliate link). This book changed my life. Not for what was in it, but the new path I was bound to take because of it. It started a little over 10 years ago when I was weighing 250lbs with aching knees. I could barely stand it. I was overweight, out of shape and not so confident of who I was, or what I wanted to become.
Fast forward, 10 years and I weigh 190lbs, have played semi-professional football, been in a rugby league, started boxing, finished my MBA, became an ISSA certified fitness trainer, became a published poet, and am running a multi-million dollar organization who does 95% of their business internationally. What a change!
I have of course hit many hard times during this period, but without fitness, I would not be able to cope with issues in my personal life, in business, or during my many ventures.
I have learned to utilize fitness of the mind, body, and soul to be a strong businessman, entrepreneur and professional and I challenge you today to do the same.
What NateAnglin.com Is
What NateAnglin.com Is Not
NateAnglin.com is not a site where your going to become a bodybuilder. I absolutely will not promote supplements that encourage one to achieve a bodybuilding physique. This blog is for functional fitness and nutrition.
Spending more than 90 minutes in the gym and slamming pills is not functional fitness. That isn't health, and this isn't the right fit for any entrepreneur or professional. We just don't have the time but it doesn't mean it isn't right for someone else.
We will not be limited just to fitness and nutrition.
We will also discuss stress management, marketing, leadership, organizational skills and other topics that you can relate to in the business environment and as an entrepreneur.
The difference is…
The topics we discus will be actionable, not textbook. You will be able to apply what you learn here in your daily life. My goal is to make you more engaged with fitness and nutrition while adapting to meet the needs of many topics associated with the business environment. Combining these topics and resources will help you reach your full potential as a leader, owner, manager, co-worker, professional and entrepreneur.
My goal is to help inspire you to make that change, to view life in a new light. Don’t worry, you can remain the corporate guru, or your entrepreneurial status, but what we share here will hopefully add to your success and limit the stress you put onto yourself.
